The Equity Symposium is an opportunity to learn from each other with a focus on racial equity. Our colleagues from Highline and beyond will present on a range of topics to challenge us to deepen our capacity for equity.
All staff will attend two sessions:
An All-Staff Anti-Bias Training
Additionally, staff will select an Elective session
This session explores what it is to be a White Ally in the fight against racism . Participants will be provided resources for becoming a White Ally, and strategies for engaging others (colleagues, students, families & others) in conversations to disrupt biases.
